Waiting For Love

I realized,

The day you looked over,

Was the day I stopped breathing,

Dazzled by your beauty,

Shocked by perfection.

For then,

I did not know,

The moment you looked over,

Was the moment I stopped believing,

I only hoped for the best,

And let go of the rest.

I didn't realize,

The real you,

Was not the one that I saw,

I could not see your flaws and fakes,

For which led me to my mistakes,

For I've seen,

Only enough to care,

Not for you but for your jokes,

I cared for less,

As days passed,

I noticed,

My love,

Was simply another joke,

You played with me laughing,

Your friends were the audience watching,

Us, which I took seriously,

And you though a joke,

I trusted,

I loved,

I gave you everything,

And you left me with nothing,

For you did not think of me the same,

You ended it,

And now,

After all this time,

I still see you watching me,

I still feel your arms when I'm cold,

I know you never had any love to give,

But I still stand here,

Wishing,

That you did,

That you were here, now,

With me,

Because I know,

Your love is all I need,

Your love is the only thing that can satisfy,

My tastes and thoughts,

I stand alone,

Tears,

They slide down my face,

And the memories come again,

I cry for you,

For something I never fully got,

When your memories are brought back,

It will be as if you were here

But you aren't,

And this feeling I know,

They call it,

Love
