Siingle Man Syndrome :

A Poem by Shazbatt969

"
          Six pack
          Bread
          Tuna salad
          Body spray
          Peanut butter
          Crisps
          Chocolate
          Dope
          Tobacco
What did you buy today ?
Went looking for something
only found myself, ounces of
black, blackest hash in my
Genie wished mind
Townes and Jack
sill in the pack
round and around
flying over ground
Hail poetry and wine
and living devine
          Planet butter
          Skins
Makes sense to me

as always poetry with a brittle and dark edge. the opening stanza indeed reads like a single guys shopping line! the search for self and meaning.

It's a long train journey to my nearest Waitrose, friend, I prefer the skips behind Morrisons,
