Wick ignites

searing pain courses

through white wax.

Imprisoned

forced to suffer

and stave off the dark.

Heat intensifies

substance melts

turns to crimson drops.

Strike a match

light a candle

and watch it bleed.

Well this is what i deem as true creativity. People write from the fire burning in their heart/soul, you've just written this from a candle. Its great to see you use external stimuli as your muse. This is beautiful.
