A Place Called Mysteries

I live in a place called Mysteries,

A place that no one knows,

A place where flowers bloom in the winter,

And birds fly south in the spring

I live in a place called Mysteries,

A place I can call my own,

A place where the sky is green,

And the lakes, a crimson hue

I live in a place called Mysteries,

A place filled with imagination,

A place where gravity does not exist,

And when you sing, the sound travels faster than light

I live in a place called Mysteries,

A place that there's only one,

A place where you smile for no reason,

And can laugh all day without a care

I live in a place called Mysteries,

A place that is nonsense,

A place where fish can breathe,

And humans hold their gills

I live in a place called Mysteries,

And boy am I happy here

This poem sort of reminds me of your "safe place," or "happy place." I have one that is similar...I go there in my mind when I am in pain and really hurting, or emotionally upset. Very good!

Your place of mysteries sounds pretty sweet to me. I would be happy there too! Especially the whole "smile for no reason" bit... I like it. It is fun and whimsical and lighthearted. Very fun read!
