Ode to the Ocean

Ode to the Ocean

A Poem by SheActsLikeSummer
"

Whispering waves...

"

Whispering waves,

Softly lapping

At the sandy shore,

They speak to each other,

Sweet condolences

Drift from their lips,

Unlike when they anger

Clouds looming overhead,

A bubbling source

Of emotion,

Growing beneath

The disturbed surface,

As it throws itself

At the cliff,

Expressing its anger,

It’s sorrow,

And soon,

It’s okay again,

Settled down,

Peaceful once more,

Passing over the ocean floor,

Softly lapping at the sandy shore

A very good description of the sea.
It's been a friend of mine for a very long time.
Wonder flow to this.
