StarLight Poem

Star Light

 

The night is clear as stars shine so brightly, the air crisp against our skin. A lover’s star lit night as we embrace with a longing kiss; for the stars that twinkle in each other's eye as the moon glows so softly in her light.

The moon gives off her nightly glow as her warmth is soft from above.

The high mountains tops, cascading it shadows among us as we walk hand in hand its path as in which she leads me

When she turned her head ever so gently, with a gentle kiss, I kiss her hand. Our minds are one our souls combine into flight this very night.

The stars twinkle with their stardust made of hues white light. The road is long, but our journey short, with the doves in the trees we take flight.

Together again we walked among the night's twinkling stars, for she is our lover, our companion, our friend as we say and kiss goodnight, sweet and dear Star Light.
