The red skies' passage

The red skies' passage

A Poem by Sherbs Dreaming Tree Of Poetry

These once blood red tinted skies

Are now, stained

Now, there is no blue

Only red

A red so rich

Tis of pure crimson

It warns of bloodshed

Of pain

Relinquishing pain...

How can our world bear such evil?

Where is nature?

Nature is dying

Gaias forests burn

Burn like

Dry sticks

Shrivelled shrubs

Crippled carnations

All a creation

Of the red sky

And it's

Passage to Evil

Amazing write.... The message for protection our nature by stopping cutting of trees and avoiding pollution has been conveyed beautifully...

"These once blood red tinted skies
Are now, stained"

I think the comma before the word stained was a bit much, but you do the impending doom thing very well.

A powerful and true poem. I was in Iraq during the first Iraq war. I was very close to the oil fires. I didn't see the blue sky for 8 months. The damage done to nature will never be repaired. The poor Gulf of Mexico. The home of so many animals have become a death bed for them. Your poem is very scary. It is based on truth of the pain and suffering of nature. A very strong ending to a excellent poem. Thank you.
