Secret Letters

Secret Letters

A Poem by Jasmine S. Edwards
"

My lyrics to Hyde's "Secret Letters" (Japanese Musician)

"

Small wall painting of a door.

Young garden still in bloom.

Birds that fly by singing a doubtful song.

Myself leans on you to make a plan.

I Fall for a vibrant love.

These heavy, attractive wings.

Sorrow, has this room an empty sky.

Should I fall in love with this idea?

Dazzling town square of harmony,

I embark on a venture.

A wave of flapped wings blinds my heart.

In the silence of the night,

As the day grows old, end it.

Forgive and forget our differences.

Write down expectations in this letter.

Where is my heart’s harmony?

Please move away from the door,

To benefit from not fighting.

Today I go away on a train,

And even harmony is undecided (time sways)

The far away big blue sky,

My darling, who’s so far away.

I left behind my heart’s harmony.

“I’ll remember, remember you,

I’ll remember, still close to you.

No need to fear the distance here.”
