Her Bittersweet Smile

She came with her bittersweet smile. She looked at me and I thought “What’s wrong?” She wept. Her tears poured and I did nothing to stop her. I didn’t give her a tissue to wipe her tears nor did I ask her questions. She said, “That’s why I am here.”
