“I didn’t want to leave because I hoped it will eventually get better,” Mariah sighed thankfully.

“But then why did you leave?” curiously asked Adam.

“You can’t hold on to something you don’t have otherwise you’ll lose everything you’re about to have,” Mariah answered with a smile on her face.

It gives a good message, I really like it. It is philosophical. In some cultures it is advised not to hold anything in this temporal world, because all that we see do not belong to us. A good piece indeed

the saddest song of old. Do you ever find you are holding on to nothing with everything you have and not seeing what is right there in front of your face. I like this.........
