From Hell to Heaven/ (Del infierno al cielo)

From Hell to Heaven/ (Del infierno al cielo)

A Poem by Shirade
"

Translation of 'Del infierno al cielo'

"
Your essence is slowly being erased from my consciousness
All I wanted was to clear you from my mind
To be totally obligated to not recognize your face
Although when I see someone that reminds me of you
I'm immobil and only my heart moves forward
Neither my conscience nor my soul can deny you
But of course things changed when I realized I loved you
And hell was converted into my heaven
The green of your eyes became my taboo
Now I recognize that with my strength
Only I can reconstruct and return heaven to it's former splendor
And the green of your eyes will just be any other color in the world

Rough translation. Trust me, it's more meaningful in Spanish. I hate translating because there's so much a word can convey that a translation alone cannot encompass.
-I know the phrase "from heaven to hell" is used often in the English. I wanted to turn that phrase on it's head, so to speak. What would it be like to have hell as your heaven? Your own person branding you with mind-numbing pain that you can't help but accept openly because you love them.

sad, but it happens, far too often actually. when you hate the person you love more than anyone else. i'm sure it means more in spanish sa you said but the translation was good. didn't feel forced or anything. :)
