watching aviate above and escape

watching aviate above and escape

A Poem by Shirlena
"

Watched someone loose a friend and clammer as she saw it fade at the last minute...sometimes you have to be willing to be wrong (when you really are) in order to keep a good friend.

"
gather around tightly...I'm amusing
consistently a pleasure as frankness is elusive
except for the witty repartee, quick jest
resting is stupidity, arrested expression

as I have denied
denied
denied

best confidant ever met been truth to me
every attribute opposite is my failure to be
have to repent but where's the release
how is it I have chosen to skate sauntering by
painted lips usher's lies of mine
red rouged of hers have captured disguise

a staunch rejection to extinguish my ways
until last ditch effort at watching a friend retreat

grasping heights over head...as it escapes
abandons a sorrowful face
