The Last Call

The Last Call

A Poem by S.Saklani
"

Many of us would have experienced in life, when we did not achieve what we aimed for. But life does not stop there and we have more to discover.

"
Proud children, parents prouder;
both are quiet, but their smiles said it louder.
The triumph in the race,
that we still have to chase.
Life goes on, it's a relay'
not the sprint stretch it seemed to me.
It's me who has to run alone all the way'
carrying my baton, I'll forward to my another phase.
If I lacked in the beginning,
I'll cover in the other.
Ultimately I know,
I am the champion and I have to conquer!

This is a nice piece. I wish I could relate to it more... that strength to pick yourself up and dust yourself off. It isn't any easy thing to do.

Thank you for sharing.
