The Void

another poem from "THE HEART" collection that i'm creating

When we were together

We were happy and content

But something happened

And started to push us apart

So that soon the feelings of happiness

Were replaced by sadness,

All I can think of is the distance separating us

I pray Day and night to the gods and goddesses

To reunite us soon

And every day that goes by

Is another day of torture

Eventually I hope to find something to heal the Void that is my heart
