Abandon

Abandon

A Poem by Kristallo

I am not so well-
in violet sleeves of midnight, I melt
Closed off from the breath of luster and sea
your abandon cuts like a crisp winter breeze
Faceless pages whisper these sad truths to me...

Bury this in ruby and make it not blue
not that cognitive dissonance of dreaming too soon
When lungs exhale a plume of dead souls
all of them pining and senseless and out of control

I don't want the offer, but i'm needing the high
the loss of lucidity that vanilla'd our sky
where is the heart that never was mine?
It's as reachable as seconds starving in time.

Then you should stay inebriated until further notice, lol, and write on, cause this is amazing.

I feel every word as if I experienced it with you. You never fail to amaze and inspire me. You speak through vivid imagery and each word holds a new definition of pain. Experiences good and bad have molded you into an incredibly intelligent and skilled writer. Your words resonate with the masses. I love your words.

I knew it was my favorite verse when you read it but it Pops out so much more when I read it...:

"Bury this in ruby and make it not blue
not that tactile resistance of dreaming too soon
When lungs exhale a plume of dead souls
all of them pining and senseless and out of control"

Wow such strong imagery and it suck the breath from me to know its root and history.
The Ruby jewel which is your heart is so tortured it becomes a colder version of it's self. with all the foul words strewn into the air like poisonous daggers through the lungs you breath in the hate and it makes you bleed out the most royal of blue blooded prose ever. :(
But I must allow it for thou est may est chose it and wallow in its maddening currents.
much love to you.

What a most beautiful agony... how it made me ache in the depth and darkness... the longing and wondering and reaching... You have a way of whispering on the winds until they lull me into your mindscapes... How I know the pain of this wanting...
