Maybe its too cold for a swim

Washed me up on some old river bed
And let me tell you, the water was colder than I thought it would be
It stings my whole body
So I just lay here
Maybe its just an off season, too cold to be bearing the rivers temperatures
I know you warned me, I do.
Just know like I said before,
This won't kill me
I am stronger than that
Its just going to hurt
I'm going to feel the sting anf the wave of shivers and cold until I warm up
I always knew you'd wash me up
I was just waiting for when
But you left me here to fend for myself
Now lost in wherever you floated me to
Your rapids took me so far out
I'm not even sure where I am.
Now I'm trying to find my way home
Yeah maybe its unconditional
I know its too cold now
But one day its going to get warm again and I'll decide to jump back in and cool off.
But next time,
Maybe I won't go so far from home.
