Back home

It feels like I'm losing control

Thoughts driving me insane 

Like I'm a broken fragile doll

That walks in the ice cold rain

I give myself a pep talk

By every step I make

It's a long tired walk

The cold keeps me awake

It's late in the night

And exactly at the midnight hour 

I can see some starlight 

That gives me the power

And I know that it will be alright

When I'm home with you

Cause you will hold me tight

Till the sweet morning dew

I love the concept of this one. Powerful word choice.
Perfect last verse...it sums it all or can stand alone to tell the gist of the poem. Who won't feel at home with someone dear to you?
