Phantasm

Phantasm

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

Azure dreams

abstract scenes

crimson waves

upon my mind

bridge the gap

between reality

and sanes

me from the mold

the pedestal

you placed me on

I have fallen

down to thee

met you there

now

between us

Impressions are left

unto thy breast

set into your heart

the beams

of what is best

within this image

of Surrealist fantasies.

I love this pace and feel of this...fantastic spiraling of words...artfully done...

Your poem is a rainbow of words, prism-like, dividing and beatifying deep feelings.

Nice work.

This is another amazing piece! The pacing is set so quickly that it flys through your mind with a sheer energy that nearly converts it into song. Your words are wonderful and powerful, (azure and crimson rather than plain ol' colour names). Fantastic!
Thank you for sharing!

This bit...

"and sanes
me from the mold"

...had me pondering for a bit. Is "sanes" as "insane" or as in "seine?" With "reality in such close proximity would expect it to be "sane." But I opted for "seine" even though the spelling is different. It was a neat little excursion.
