The Darkness Within

Sleepless nights are

coming my way,

Looking at the stars

I always pray..

 

May the morning come

Bringing high glaze,

Starting a new era

Of my life’s phase.

 

For the past 21 years,

I have been tortured.

Everyday has been painful,

Though not a single bone fractured.

 

Always locked myself in a room,

Was afraid of the outside world.

Its full of selfish and powerful people

I might die facing those absurd.

 

My life’s incomplete without

Sadness and ruefulness..

These are the only qualities,

I shouldn’t have tried to harness.

Insecurity is what makes

People deterrent..

Leading to degradation of humanity

Making it insolvent.

 

Always abased myself,

Wilting me in everything.

Carousal was just a reason,

To evade thoughts that were binding.

 

Being timorous made me resent people,

Wondering why they contempt.

But now is the time to benight and vivify my dreams,

Hoping for discontent.
