Constrict

Here's a little poem I wrote that some may find confusing I guess it's just how you interpret it.

My breath goes away and my heart stops. I know this pressure all to well so do I struggle or do I stop. When will this constriction stop. You've gotten me into your trap and there's no way out, but you hold me so close so why try and get out. You make me understand this feeling all too well but I enjoy it so my question is was I constricting you or were you constricting me....

My interpretation:
You hold onto something so tightly, for so long that in the end it isn't even clear who is holding onto who. They don't want to let go because they enjoy what you bring and you can't let go, because you need what they bring.

I'd love to hear what the actual meaning behind this is. But, i suppose, the beauty of poetry is that it can have many many different meanings and interpretations to different people.
