Something a little different this month...

The lines that stood out for me were:
you are (I am) alive with the pain.
As much as I love peace, I want to be moving fast

And my response:
Shades of Sighs
(Tumbling Tercets)
Pain stipples
ruddy color
onto my cheeks, though
vibrant shades of sighs
spill forth from parted lips.
I find I’m dipped in
blue as
solemn shadows hold me…
returning me to days of
grey and tears I know too
well. But it’s those
dark
times that have made me
resilient. And on
bright,
white pages the curves
of words and smudges
of
black ink bring clarity
to what used to be
opaque

so all in all
I would go for that mix
As much as I love peace, I want to be moving fast and hitting the high road
