Wow this should be fun,

Now that the haters won

Now the damage is done.

How many of them care? (None!!)

Yes, I know it's just too much to bear.

Yes, I know it's just so unfair.

So get up, and tell them to

Shut up!

 

Torture in your eyes, I found.

Why do you let them push you around?

But no, you won't get up and make a sound.

 

Ringing in your ears, their lies.

Shouting over them, your cries.

A small voice in your head whispers,

There's still a chance to rise.

 

But they messed with your head,

Poison you were fed,

And now you're dead.

And now you're dead.

And now,

You're dead.

A wonderful piece on the darkness of accepting the opinions of others instead of trusting in your own personal power. I like the way that you play up the possibility of recovery from the damage done only to dash it away in the last stanza. Oh, and grammatically, did you mean 'you're' at the end there?
