Destructive SilenceA Poem by KatelynNever give in.Wow this should be fun, Now that the haters won You let them rip your heart. You let them tear you apart.
You gave in, Letting them win You gave them the gun Now the damage is done. How many of them care? (None!!) Yes, I know it's just too much to bear. Yes, I know it's just so unfair. So get up, and tell them to Shut up!
Torture in your eyes, I found. Why do you let them push you around? But no, you won't get up and make a sound.
Ringing in your ears, their lies. Shouting over them, your cries. A small voice in your head whispers, There's still a chance to rise.
But they messed with your head, Poison you were fed, And now you're dead. And now you're dead. And now, You're dead.
