Fields of Marble

Fields of Marble

A Poem by Silent Sonata

Flowers of nocturne

And fields of rye

Murder screams

Below my sigh

Valleys of fire

And rivers of woe

Magnetic mirrors

My eyes will flow

Fields of marble

And cities too

A sun will rise

To make me new

Magna of sins

And honor’s glow

From Abimelech

They’ll truly know

Sky of gore

Their people cry

"My ears will ring

And then I’ll die!"

Forests of faith

And the chasm of Hell

A killer was born

To Earth he fell

Cities of death

An ocean’s bleed

Free me from this

Untruly creed

Knight of silence

Brought me down

Bless his soul

He’s gained a crown
