For the last 3,000 years, the country of Gael-Narenth has been struggling to keep the forces of Si-ol at bay. Akkheron - the sorcerer king - has grown restless upon his diseased throne, and his army now moves to strike.
Edileth - a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense elf - has been assigned the task of helping the Ferlian Order transport a mysterious artifact that may hold the key to dethroning Akkheron. But when a spontaneous and care-free elf finds himself in the middle of everything, Edileth's patience will be tried. In the midst of great trials and uncertainty, she will need to learn to let down her barriers and trust her companions.

I really like your attempt at a certain type of fantasy.
Though being overtly religious does not help your goals. If you want your message to be read walk that part of it back. Let readers fall into your message not be overwhelmed by it.

I understand that having religious views within a novel will not open it to the wider audience of secular publishing. However, that is not my ultimate goal for this particular story.
That being said, there have been many adjustments to this book that are not reflected on this site. Some of those changes do pertain to some of the scripture references used.
I will be the first to admit that this book still has a long way to go before I will be satisfied, so I truly appreciate you taking the time to look at it and give feedback.

I saw the read request for chapter 6 of this book so I added it to my reading list so I can start from the beginning. I will certainly be reading through it and it sounds like a great story! :)
