Emotion

As night approaches and dawn breaks I sit alone upon my bed, longing, longing for that emotion I once had.....
Emotion encapsulated within my soul trying to reach out, an olive branch perhaps I just don’t seem to know.

ones deep desire to shed a tear and accept that fear, instead there is nothing, no anger boiling inside, or fear or fright just nothing upon this cold cold night.

Hmm, interesting poem. Maybe I can evoke some emotion in you by giving a nice review. I think you describe a feeling that we've all felt at some crossroad in our lives. The question becomes than how do you proceed from it? I think all anybody needs is someone to pull their spirit up no matter how empty it may seem. I'd say a kind word or two from a stranger can keep you away from certain danger. Keep writing and let your feelings flourish. take care.

Ah!!! I know what You mean my friend, it's the "emptiness", You are here but not here, You are just a hole... if tears fell, it would be much better, if You felt anything, better than feel nothing, even if it's pain, it's better than feeling nothing! You feel You are human and not!? those emotions that struggling to come out are blocked, but will be released and by tears I believe so, after crying, You will feel much better, I think all this happened from great grieve or a really difficult experience, some are too shocked to react at that moment, but later the burden of it will appear, one way or another, being completely numb is one of them, all the best my friend!
