My heart is an empty treasure chest ready to be filled with luxurious things

Buried deep under ground waiting and wanting to be found

A treasure map can be retrieved in that beautiful restaurant down by the sea

When you find me take me there I’ll enjoy bathing in your company

Your riches bewildering

Gold so alluring

So Seek my treasure chest with no delay you may end up holding the key to my dismay

I must warn you I’m a complex soul delving into the realms of this dense world

I challenge you at your own risk you may just be the one who can set me free......

in a dense world no one would really care about any issues, they would just walk around in a fog, but when it comes to yourself sometimes we are just too blind to remove that mask and accept our self the way that we are. I really enjoyed this, it's intriguing

My first thought... A heartbreak in-waiting. I suspect the invitation is an unintentional trap, meaning the offer comes sincerely but from a broken woman/man who will never again reveal her/his heart (treasure), probably because of an earlier betrayal. Still, if the "treasure" seeker prevails, he/she will have the richest love imaginable. It's masterfully written and leaves the reader will vivid imagery and a sense of wonder. Another good poem from you. Thanks for sharing.

your speaker offers a brave invitation ;) maybe its a trap! :o
I like the simple language, the scene is set and story told in just a few short lines ... it could be the sharing of one moment of thought or the rood inferred for your protagonist to find and realize that the key exists and themselves control it ...likewise the offer/warning to take a peak can be aimed at one...or all ...as a universal bit of wisdom ... :)

I say your quite the captivating treasure chest after all, perhaps I have the key with my positive mind and desire to see you do just fine. :) lol You do an excellent job of relating a heart to a chest because I feel its true. Yet, I think our greatest treasure is the unlimited number of feelings within it. Plus, the people in your life can add to your chest since there's no depth. Keep up the wonderful work.
