I know it's popular to say "Survivor, Not Victim" . . . but as a person raped repeatedly as a child, I do not like the idea that I am weak if I feel like a victim sometimes. I believe it's OK to honor the broken parts that feel victimized . . . AND we can also be proud of surviving what we did. It doesn't have to be posed as a choice with victims as the weaker option (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie
