A love that's reawakening, truely and completely shut myself off and after some hard work, the love is reawakening. Sad I know lol

A soft damson Rose

Ah! Love can do that. Lull you to sleep with the softness of petals and keep you awake with the thorns. Nice comparison of love to a rose, and the last line is perfect.

wistful and romantic, Simba! L1&2 instantly put me in my own "Each morning...." thanks for sharing .. i did get some sleep last night ... woke up around 3:30 AM ... late for me ;) my dogs usually take turns waking me around 11 PM and 2AM etc. ...so I just get up when the first one calls :)
very romantic poem ... especially the "damson rose" ... i did not know what damson is .. so thanks! that means I don't have to learn anything more that's new for the day :}
