Numb

Numb

A Poem by SimplyOlivia

Ice Cold

Nerves Shot

Just like after a Drink

Losing Function

Losing Control

Can’t stop the pain

Can’t move my hand

Can’t break the bonds

Can’t kill the blinding pain

Ice through my veins

I thought I was numb

Blood is lost

But then it stops

Blood flows freely

Regaining feeling

Regaining control

But my heart is still ice

My love still fire

My heart is black

My feelings NUMB.
