I'll Rage On

I'll Rage On

A Poem by SinisterPotatoe
"

A poem about a young adult full of rage at a world filled with hatred.

"

I’ll Rage On

I’ll rage on through the blood and the tears

Rage that burns through my all pain, fury that cuts through any sadness

Drying my tears with the flames of hatred, fighting forever

I rage on

I’ll rage on through the evil people with intent to kill

Through those who think they are better than me

Through the unacceptable times my soul has been wrecked to s**t

Countless times people kicked me while I was down

Do I look back? Never

I rage on

I’ll rage on through this frigid world, where cold people with steel hearts beat down on each other, in a frozen wasteland of despair, without love or mercy. Yet they still ask for a helping hand after all the pain they’ve caused

I’m unable to accept a world that is full of hate, which fuels my own hatred, creating a cycle of bloodshed that will always continue

I rage on

I walk through the hatred, my rage swallowing the pain. I learn from this world of sorrow, and now I’m going insane. I don't want to be here anymore. In my padded cell, I rage on, hoping somebody will hear me. But would that change anything?

deep concept using rage and sadness as the catalyst to emotional stability. To often we are self absorbed and feel with our mind, think with our heart leaving our souls void of identity is it any wonder so many are lost within them self? I am going to be thinking about this poem for days and I love when something I read makes me think and the deeper it makes me think the better I like it, inspiration will come from all the thinking you are going to make me do and I thank you for it. Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

The first mistake
A band of soldiers finds diplomacy in the dreg forest comes with consequences.
I didn't expect that ending. Very correctly expressed your concern and rage. I liked it. Well done.
