A Poem by Hope
"

Contemplations, that's all. Wrote this after watching Firefly again.

"
One last frontier yet unscathed,
  take me where my heart will rave.
My one, and only, last desire:
  help me breathe in life's first mire.
Can I help these increments seem less
  daunting and less dense?
Before I go and sing his praise,
  there are some things to help your days.

The stars do shine so long and bright,
  with limitations - as did mine.
Naught by their inward burn,
  borrowed only for their turn.
Darkness lurks where light does lack -
  bring back joy, give people slack.

You are given life, you see;
  though wealth and might authority bring.
Intimidation these do bring,
  but none more like peace and free.

Strive for justice,
  survival, too;
Not perfection
  or you will rue.
