The Newspaper

The Newspaper

A Poem by Brian

The Newspaper

We have all been kind to you

You could have at least been kind to us

Why resort to such things, why steal a newspaper.

If you wanted it, all you had to do was ask.

But tonight my little buddy, we will get you.

Your time for you laughs is over, its time for

Our laughs now. You came by every Sunday

And stole everyone’s newspaper. Everyone worked for ir

So why cant you. If you need money, just ask.

If you need a job, just ask.

If you need food, just ask.

But to resort to stealing something so simple

Can not be tolerated. But on this Sunday morning

Your time to reign is over.
