"Turning Into The Knight"

"Turning Into The Knight"

A Poem by Douglas Bujak

Sitting here pondering, I've found that i'm not on my path

But, I've slipped into the dirt, And settled for what i can get

Reached out a hand, She gave up her body for one night

Adding to my endless battle inside, What am I?

Sometimes I can't answer that, For the truth is that i dont know

I'm just so confused with everything, Yet I seem so layed back

So fly into the water, Refresh your body

Clean out the soul, Renew the mind

And soon you will find, That i'm turning into the Knight

Fighting the crusaders so, I can finally go home

That place I cant remember much of, few memories come back to me

But I wont talk about them, The Knight, I am

I defend this cross, and my brothers watch my side

Though the taste of blood, and the stabbing pain from a blade will make them run

Pain is temporary, Limbs are but gods gifts

Through the mind battle inside, Through the mud and rain

Cigarrette smoking from my lips, as i pull out my blade

Painted face, sneeking closer, closer, Then i got you

I watch your eyes, they turn white, still, then lifeless

All infront of my eyes, My hands stained red

Wiping i touch my face, And there stays your blood on me forever

Just the look in your eyes, What a surprise

Look into my eyes, And know, now

That I am the Knight

The Knight of death and Endless tragedy

The End
