Trust

The subject has heavily been on my mind lately so i took literally 7 minutes and decided to write this.

You fight with all your might,

Yet you still fear the night.

You know the key to it all,

Yet you won't trust your knight.

You are afraid of the fall,

And the pain that it will cause.

But you still keep building,

Building a tormenting wall.

You say its just a feeling,

But it is something seething.

Simply look to the center,

Just keep on peeling.

Don't let me be a hinder,

Stay strong and surrender.

Surrender to the King,

What you constantly let linger.

Lift your voice and sing,

Look down at the ring.

You are not alone in this fight,

You have a knight my queen.

i think every woman remembers being that little princess, waiting for her knight in shining armor to rescue her . the fact that you touch upon this very feminine fantasy shows that you have a romantic heart. this is cleverly written and nicely worded. well done.
