Inside the Colon (A Tourist Guide)

Inside the Colon (A Tourist Guide)

A Poem by SkinlessFrank

to get there

you must first crawl

through the dark places

where the polyps grow

like mushrooms

on pink walls

sweet and swollen

if you've timed

your excursion carefully

then be rewarded

by the flash

of the ginza knife

as the sushi chef slices

through the tumor

to reveal that famous

yellow-green discharge

but do please

be careful

at low tide

not to step

into the sulfur pools

where the pinworms writhe

(I’m told they can digest a man’s foot in minutes)

and by all means

give wide berth to the

gas pillow

its soft volume

so tempting

you must resist

with all your willpower

the urge to push

at that thin membrane

...that gas pillow reminds me of the foolishness of doctors when they yell at the mom, don't push....well geesh doc you're yelling at the wrong person....the baby is crowning...roll those sleeves up and get ready to catch!

dis-gus-TING! ...-ly brilliantly horribly captivating... I almost didn't want to read it, but couldn't stop myself.
You are king of the grotesque.

'where the pinworms writhe
(I’m told they can digest a man’s foot in minutes)'

this is where it gets scary on this strange journey! i liked the original angle here, a huge melting pot and you just don't know whats going to be inside! so very unpleasant!
