The Truth is You Could Slit My Throat I'd Apologize for Bleeding on Your Shirt

The Truth is You Could Slit My Throat I'd Apologize for Bleeding on Your Shirt

A Poem by BrokenDreamer

"Gay! F*g!" You wipe the tears,

Running through these laughing peers.

Nowhere to go, Nowhere to hide,

Afriad to show everything inside.

Just leave him alone, you love who you love,

He's human, we all are, isn't that enough?

I could joke that you're straight and laugh at your life,

See how it feels when you pull out that knife.
