Mask

Mask

A Poem by Skoyle

No one knows

that he's depressed

He's too happy

to be depressed

The mask is working

no one knows,

No one can see

where the Happy Man goes

He hates coffee

But drinks it black

Tries to blend in,

But he comes back

The mask goes on,

Everyone cheers

He smiles silently

Amidst all his tears

"If I smile wide,

If I give them no reason

to think something wrong,

No one shall suspect my treason"

Everyone's happy

While he is sad,

"There's that," he thinks

"That's not so bad."

Everyone have a mask of his/her own, cause thats what makes us strong, at least to look strong. There's a lot of poems around about mask, and I think this one is great! Actually, the concept of mask is really good, and i love how you express the idea of mask into a poem.
It have a very good flow and its strong and powerful!
An Amazing Poem!
