Separate yourself from this circus

Separate yourself from this circus

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Undo those celestial chords
tying you to this listless life
Join that recurring breeze
calling your name so gently
Loosen those stubborn tent pegs
Get this show onto a new road
Where multiple voices
will forever be stilled

and the audience need not understand
the enigma of your punchlines

where laughter
and cries
mean the same thing

and if nobody shows up
that's okay too -

life,
and death

can both be
a monologue.

Very artistic piece ..................

Love the thoughts you have portrayed through oppositional comparisons - laughter and cries, life and death... adds to the dilemma of the whole monologue.
