Just three months

Just three months

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

The guys and gals
In smooth white jackets
And letters after their names
Claim
That it only takes three months
To conquer those feelings
Of missing you
Either they're not so clever
Or my love has not been measured
Because it feels like yesterday
That your smile rocket-boosted my soul
So up there with the weather balloons
My heart floats
Hoping to catch a glimpse
From a cold distance
Of where you enjoy
Your fake smiles
In your lab of lifeless joy
Good luck, to you,
My earth-bound love
I hope you solve love's equation
In your sad white-coat world.
