I don't recall that I've seen the word "pendulum" used as a verb that much, but I think it works in this poem - feedback welcome :)

The pendulum can be quite hypnotic so I'm wondering if you're under a spell of sorts? Lovely poem:)

Hypnosis, likely, spells, optional ;)though I guess I have to avoid “eye-contact” with the pendulum ;)

This really does go well with the image, which suggests to me that someone believing in you makes you believe in yourself...which is not bad going for me, considering I have a fear of open water and falling from a great height, altgough to be honest, its more hitting the ground at speed that worries me. :)

Sometimes hitting the ground is exactly what we need ;) though doing so with a parachute may be a little bit more comfortable.....oh...now I have to put parachute into a poem :) *grabs blunt pencil*
