I weathered the Storm

I weathered the Storm

A Poem by SmittyJas

Life can be so unkind

In The Moments of Stormy weather
Sometimes my world does not come together
It drifts apart it staggers me into my world of mystery
Why do they try to hunt me down

and beat my theories to the ground
Make me feel like a young fool
showing me I haven't used the right tools
Then Like to pick apart my brain

and say I'm going insane
and the moments when the stormy weather
seems to clear and the water just drips from the roof
Thoughts of mine just go un read

Then seem just to stay in my head
Never to be heard from again
the theory is dropped as for now the sun does shine
The offense they had taken to my point of view

By now my theory can no longer become fact
Because of the way I been attack
In public the higher ups have discarded me
I am not longer their puppet figure

I weathered the storm
and as everyone knows
Life can be unkind.

How true the last grouping is. Not only unkind but in many cases, unjust. Valentine

Quite a sad ending. I liked the use of the weather . . . it added a lot of imagery.
