Necromantia

Necromantia

A Poem by Akira Kodama
"

Metaphorical reality / Partial fantasy.

"
There's this girl I know
Such a gorgeous sight
She wears all black -
Black, as the night.
She looks into my eyes
And kills me every time
I've never seen such beauty
Never of that kind.
She speaks of flowers
Dark and lifeless
I speak of eternal slumber
Endless midnight bliss.
I hope this life
We can make it through
I hope this death
Will be one with you.

Star-crossed lovers, or perhaps doomed youth?
Beautiful, nonetheless.
Could use a little refining around the edges, though, I'm sure you got it under control.

simple yet compound. The metaphor is undeniable, and strong as well. Black, such a beauty indeed. It wrapped me in such dark temptation as well.
