Someone I came to know

When the world turns its back on me I turn around and you
I see standing there straight and tall
Wanting to help me through it all
Listen to me ,you won't ever know what i have been through.
Nor would i ever know ,what you've been through.
It's just a feeling overcame by a stranger.
You're nothing ,but just someone i came to know.
Someone came knocking
At my wee, small door

I rather enjoyed this. There is a lot of validity to the words. How we can feel as though we have been dragged through the roughest points of our life. That life has cast us out. But everyone has had trials. Life has been unkind to everyone, in a lot of different ways. Empathy and remembering that are important to really having an effect on the lives of those around us.

And it's also usually a stranger that is the one who can pull us out of what ever dark hell we found ourselves in.

Better someone than none at all? ...smacks of wanting help but being too proud to admit it but then recanting with a reluctant acknowledgement. Strange, very strange.
