Waging Flame of a Lover's War
By: Adam M. Snow

My love I told you once before,
of this life and waging war.
But if my life should come to pass,
our memories should forever last.
I say it only once again,
"I shall not fear the foe of men."
But if I cannot grasp our love,
our morning star shall fall above.
I shall not live but live again.
I shall love you till the very end.
But if our end were sure to come,
my heart is yours, as I lay numb.

"I shall not fear the foe of men." Indeed, we all do, but defy, defy and defy again my darling, well done, good read.

I like the flow of thoughts in the poem. The words are real statements of love.
"I shall not live but live again.
I shall love you till the very end."
A strong ending to a outstanding poem of love.

This is rad. I like how you had the deep sadness set into an essential (simplified?), more old-time great poem.
Nice work
