Solstice Night

Solstice Night

A Poem by Adam M. Snow

Once upon a solstice night, As she broad a distance sight. Leaving behind her spoken voice As she waits the world by choice.

Solstice Night
By: Adam M. Snow

Once upon a solstice night,
As she broad a distance sight.
Leaving behind her spoken voice
As she waits the world by choice.
One scarlet night abroad the tower,
She lies to wait a night devour.
As truth be told she lies awake,
Dreaming of her knightly sake.
Burden be her heart dost sing,
"O to thee what morrow brings?"
She lies there by the window pane,
Silent forevermore and forever insane.

That's really cool. Great words, soothing rhythm. I like the style of writing--the vernacular, I mean. It has an old-fashioned feel to it, as if it could've been written long ago, when a different dialect of English was spoken in the streets. Nice :)

Beautiful words and powerful description create a good vision. I enjoy the feel of old style language and thoughts. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I love the old world feel to this piece. The last line is done well. Many woman wait for the night in shining armour. We need to realize that no one is perfect. I love this smooth flowing piece
