My Lamia

My Lamia

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

Plagued by the hounding nature of masochistic flavors.

Heaven only knows the depth I've been to.

In doubt.

Unsure.

Forsaken by the ones that kept it tight.

Connected.

Revered.

Now archived.

Ghostly memories of my ruptured disk.

And since, I've burned.

With energy harnessed from 10,000 repeated hearts.

I bleed for the courage of the dying ones.

I know the desert oasis of loneliness.

These memoirs only guide me further.

Only place me higher.

Auroral in my nature.

Seeking evil with true intentions.

Your existence is futile as I light the night.

Paving the way for further realities to exist.

To be.
