Xeno-Delight

Xeno-Delight

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

Kept away.

Lead astray.

Dueling minds have racing hearts.

They've come a long way.

Whatever is left to be seen.

Focus attentions in the sky.

But tied to an anchor.

Vehemently crashing down.

Xenophobic natures lash out with delight.

Or straight out of fright.

Bare man's skin with pins.

Creating pain across the land for people to cringe.

Their shrink is our gain.

And freedom is restrained.

Witch burnings taught those people one thing.

Bombings should tell them another.
