Unfolding Layers

If there are people who crave

To meet someone as interesting

As their soul mate, so be it.

 

If someone wants to give

Their time, heart, and soul

To another, so be it.

 

If i was to walk beside you

And let you teach me things

Translating your manners, so be it.

 

If the law would ever

Restrain two hearts as bright as ours,

And we could run away, so be it.

 

But if in the end,

You and me is eternal,

I know that nothing would stop us.

that was my favorite verse, but everyone was really great in its own right. i'm a big fan of this piece. i enjoyed it immensely - a lovely, enjoyable read :)
