Burdens

Burdens

A Poem by Somebrownnerd
"

As he walked in silently, and grasped her hand, she knew.

"

She sat alone,

face of stone,

tides hidden beneath.

A cacophony of noises,

the dripping of mental poisons;

threaten to shatter teeth.

A crashing subtlety, the hurt waned.

A heartening touch, she faded from pain.

Love is so instilled.

Knowing hands traced her face,

sweeping away what felt of mace.

Young hearts hopefully rebuild.
