Soledad

Soledad

A Poem by Somnium
"

Loneliness

"

I am like the buzzing of a fly;

Horrible, loud, ignored by the crowd.

The stars hide themselves at my presence,

The shining moon gets dimmer at my sight.

Sugar cane gets sour with my touch.

My tongue becomes wordless, useless.

I got robbed of my aroma too,

Everything left is myself, my self, and self.

Both Bleak and beautiful. There is a sence, through most of it of self blame. That the speaker's presence is doing these things, rather than these things doing them to the speaker. Gives it an interesting perspective.
